Epilogue
In just a little bit, Yohji was to board the plane that would take him from the only life he’d ever known to a future that he embraced. For the first time since waking in that hospital almost three years ago, he had hope and eagerly looked forward to what the future held. He glanced over at his two lovers seated next to him then settled back and thought about the past 36 hours since the three of them curled up in his bed to cuddle then sleep.
They woke early yesterday morning to begin the process to allow Yohji to go to London. Aya got on the phone with Mamoru Takatori, of all people, while Chloé made several calls to England. The discussion that Aya had with Mamoru seemed a bit heated at times and ended with Aya ending the call and tossing his phone away in disgust.
Apparently, Mamoru was not pleased with the turn of events and had wanted to meet with them all later that day. Chloé’s calls seemed to go much better and when he joined them, it was with a smile and assurances that everyone was anxious to meet Yohji and welcome him.
The big question was how far Yohji wanted to join in those lives they now had. Both Chloé and Aya explained that it would be his choice if he wanted to join the lethal part of Krypton Brand or not. Even if he declined, he would live with them and could open an investigation business in London while they worked the flower shop and the other parts of their job.
When all the calls were finished, they went to Yohji’s office so he could organize the things he wanted to have shipped to London. Shortly after that, it was off to the meeting with Mamoru. When they were first introduced, Yohji had some flashes of memory that conflicted greatly with the person before him. His memories showed a much happier and less harried person.
Aya and Mamoru’s greeting to each other had been frigidly formal, while Chloé’s and Mamoru’s were a bit less frosty. Aya explained briefly once again what the situation was and that they required the assistance Mamoru could provide to obtain a passport for Yohji. Krypton Brand was already getting the proper visas for him.
Mamoru asked to speak to Yohji and the other two reluctantly left them alone. To say he was uncomfortable under that piercing blue gaze would've been an understatement. They talked for awhile before Mamoru was assured that Yohji truly understood what he was doing and this was what he wanted with no coercion. Yohji had never been so glad when a conversation was over before, including the tumultuous ones he’d had the previous day.
By the end of yesterday, the little sleep the three of them had had the night before caught up with them and they didn’t have much more energy than to kiss and grope a little before they fell into an exhausted slumber. Yohji wasn’t worried, once they got to London and over the jet lag, he was positive they’d continue to discover the pleasures yet to be found between the three of them.
Yohji obtained his passport this morning along with the assurances that his belongings and bed would arrive in London on the next transport ship. His clothes, when packed, didn’t even fill the two large suitcases which were now in the belly of the 747 he was about to board. Yohji was quite impressed that they would be flying first class. He guessed Aya and Chloé made a good salary with what they did for a living.
Yohji was startled out of his thoughts when a hand touched his and Aya spoke, “That’s us, Yohji. Are you ready?”
The little bit of apprehension that filled his chest quickly dissipated when he looked up to see the love shining brightly in Aya's eyes. A quick look at Chloé reflected the affection that he knew was returned in his own gaze. He looked at Aya once again and smiled widely, “Yes. Let’s go. I can’t wait to see what happens next.”
